We're not even going to get into the whole "I know it's been awhile since I blogged" like we're literally skipping right past that because I've wrote it way too many times before and still to this day I'm not as organised as I'd like too be but hey I do try...
Recently I've been buying a lot of makeup items again and it's gotten to the point where I'm either no longer allowing myself to do so until I start working through some of the products or i just have to have a clear out and give away the items I don't use. Both options seem traumatic too me so Im still trying to decide on which one may be better for me Although the day this goes live I'm getting a tooth pulled so I'm making my dad buy me some Urban Decay goodies from Duty Free so I feel a little bit better about myself and also as a treat yo'self
Starting with some False Lashes, I picked up another two packs of the Eylure x Fleur de Force lashes in the style Fleur Loves, for days when I just want my lashes too look a little more fluttery I love these! The band is basically invisible and they are only 3/4 length although they basically fit my whole eye they just give a natural look with a bit more flutter!
Something that is probably not a big deal to anyone really but for me, for some reason it was. Finally after two years of using the little packs of lash adhesive that comes with lashes, especially the Primark one (which I've nothing against and still think it's great!) I finally picked up a tube of Duo Adhesive. Like it's legit taken me 2 years to buy this, you'd swear it costs a fortune (it doesn't) but it was just one of those things.
Friday was the last day of work for me and I'm now officially on a week of holidays and my goodness I couldn't be happier about it! So while walking home I stopped in quickly to a pharmacy that has a Wet n Wild stand and picked up a few pieces I have been wanting to try.
The first thing was the Lash Renegade mascara, I've literally been seeing this all over my Instagram and heard such good things about it that I just had to give it a whirl. I also picked up their Photo Focus foundation in the shade Nude Ivory as I had also heard such great reviews about it. Also I bought it without switching the colour and only decided to try it the next day and it's legit the perfect shade. I've yet to try a full face and go around with it on for the day, once it doesn't oxidise the shade is perf!
In TkMaxx last week I came across the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer and couldn't just leave the shop without buying one to try. I picked up the shade medium as sadly they didn't have any lighter shades however it will blend with the likes of my No7 foundation that I wear on a daily basis so I'm super excited to see is the hype surrounding it all that worth it.
Finally back to the last few drugstore bits,
I picked up some of the Rimmel Stay Matte shades and I'm so impressed by them. They don't feel thick or drying when on the lips and their lasting time is pretty decent. I think all together I picked up about 6 of the shades and the Nudes are so on point.
I bought another one of the Maybelline The Blushed Nudes palette because surprisingly I had hit pan in all of the shades and my old palette was just gross looking because it was so used, so I decided to pick up a brand new one. They're releasing a burgundy one of these and trust me when I say it is BEAUTIFUL think Urban Decay Heat vibes.
Finally I picked up a little lip palette by L'oreal to give a try. Truth be told this was more so got because I knew it would look pretty in photos #BloggerProblems but I am excited to give some of the shades a whirl and see what the formula is like.
Have you tried any of the items I've picked up recently?
