The sun has decided to start showing, yes finally! So I thought why not try something new with my makeup. I've been looking at lots of inspiration on Pinterest and have been loving pinks and oranges as they just look perfect for Spring.
Please forgive me for the photos, I'm still learning how to take photos of makeup on, which sounds a bit strange but if you're a blogger you will know what I mean..hopefully. Eye makeup wise I used shadows from Makeup Revolution and Makeup Studio. I did do it a bit subtle as I wasn't sure how well the colours would actually suit me, but I really liked it and I will probably go a bit more heavy next time and not blend it out as much.
Base products used are Porefessional by Benefit, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in '2 cool medium'. Rimmel Match Perfection in '101 classic ivory' and applied it with my ebay Sigma brush (view post here) and finally Makeup Studio's Translucent Powder in shade 2.
Eye products used were Collections Brow Kit and NYX Jumbo Pencil in 'Milk' as my highlight. Makeup Revolutions Focus & Fix eye primer and shadows are Makeup Revolution from Colour Chaos palette the shade 'Tom Tom'. Then from the Matte Brights palette the orange shade and the brighter pink. Using a Real Techniques shader brush and a Zoeva 227 I just blended the colours into the crease over lapping each other and it created a nice subtle orange transitioning to a fruit salad colour on the outer v. I also blended the colours underneath the eyes as well.
Other products used were Maybelline lasting drama gel liner and Benefits They're Real mascara. The right lip colour was a problem with first trying Rimmel 'In Love With Ginger' and it being too reddy- orange. I then tried Wet n Wild's 'Pinkerbell' which was slightly too pink so I applied Tanya Burr's Lipgloss in 'Afternoon Tea' which I thought went perfectly. To contour (which you can't actually see in the photos, see still learning how to be able to show makeup in photos!) I used Bourjois Delice de Poudre Duo, but only used the bronzer and then to highlight I used NYX HD Concealer in '01 Porcelain' which is my absolute favourite product at the moment!
