W7 vs Urban Decay ♡

Oh W7 how I do love you!
If you don't know already W7 is fastly becoming one of my favourite affordable brands because of the great quality and affordable prices! From the products I have of theirs so far I have noticed quite a few dupes for more expensive products! My first one in which you can find here, definitely recommend you checking it out especially if you are a fan of the They're Real mascara by Benefit as you'll be in for a surprise!

Urban Decay Naked is probably one of my most used palettes out of my makeup collection because the colours are great for any kind of look. However the price tag is a little on the expensive side at €44.00 so it's not exactly ideal if you're on a budget.
Thankfully that's where W7 comes in! The Lightly Toasted palette* is a cheaper palette at only €7.99 and it's got the exact same colours and quality for a quarter of the price.

I know what you're thinking, if I buy the Naked one though won't it have better colour pay off?
Nopes.
As you can see from the picture above the colours are the exact same! W7 have made their shadows so creamy and pigmented with just one swipe. Honestly I was blown away by the quality of this and the fact that every single colour is so on point.

I also really like the packaging of the W7 palette. As you can tell my Naked palette is a bit well dirty looking because it is old, it's also velvet meaning everything sticks to it! The W7 palette is a tin palette and feels very sturdy and the lid securely shuts, whereas the Naked only stays shut with a magnet.

This is definitely a palette I'd recommend to anyone and everyone especially if the Naked palette isn't within your budget because for quarter of the price you can have the exact same colours and pigmentation only with a different name!

Consisting of 12 nude colours it is great for an everyday toned down look or a more dramatic smoky look. I've really enjoyed using this palette and will continue to do so. I would also re-purchase this faster than the Urban Decay one because of how much money you save.

Have you tried any W7 products?

  4. Wow I can’t believe how similar the colours are between both palettes and look very similar in terms of pigmentation. I have actually seen these palettes in my local TK Maxx and would be tempted to get this to take on my holidays so at least if something were to happen to it I would rather lose out on a few pound as opposed to nearly £40! Fabulous post hun :)
