When it comes to makeup (and it even took me awhile to learn this) you don't have to spend big money on items for them to be 'good' as lets be honest there's going to be a 50/50 chance of it being good or not and mostly you just pay for the name! So here's some of my favourite drug store products that I constantly re-purchase.
Baby Skin Primer by Maybelline | Match Perfection Foundation in Soft Beige by Rimmel.
Baby Skin by Maybelline (€11.49) is a primer I do find good and helps keep your makeup on all day. I will admit I hate the texture of it, its almost like a silicone kind of texture, however it does a good job so I learn to get on with it.
Match Perfection (€9.95) is my absolute favourite drugstore foundation, it has a good variety of colours and gives such good coverage. I honestly cant fault this in any way possible.
Lasting Drama Gel Liner by Maybelline | The Falsies Mascara by Maybelline
Lasting Drama Liner (€11.99) I adore gel liners but found any I ever tried just weren't black enough for me! So when I decided to try this one, one day I never looked back its extra black. It doesn't dry out really quickly either like some brand ones do. It's also really easy to work with and comes with a brush which I personally don't use as I rather using winged liner brushes.
The Falsies Mascara (€11.99) one word amazing. Leaves your lashes looking long and full which is brilliant. If Benefit They're Real isn't in your price range I would definitely recommend trying this one its a keeper!
Baby Lips in Hydrate & Mint Fresh by Maybelline
Baby Lips (€3.99) come in a few different scents but these two are my favourites. These definitely do hydrate your lips and help them stay smooth and prevent cracking. The lip balms above smell amazing!
Moisture Renew Lipstick by Rimmel | Kate Matte Lipstick by Rimmel | Apocalips by Rimmel
Moisture Renew (€7.79) colour 'in love with ginger' this lipstick basically lives up to its name. Its definitely moisturising and such a smooth product to apply to your lips.
Kate Matte (€6.99) colour '110' again is another gorgeous product to apply. If you're looking for a matte lipstick definitely take a look at this range.
Apocalips (€7.95) colour 'big bang' (featured in previous blog post you can find here) Honestly this product will either be a hit or miss with you. Personally I love them due to the fact there so pigmented and last for hours!
Writing this post it made me see that clearly Maybelline and Rimmel are my favourite drug store brands for sure.
